Anyone explain to me exactly what it is ? What problems it will cause and how to rectify it and check for it

So do I just go ahead and remove the cams and sort it that way? Then put the bolt in once I have then lined ?

Was just gonna set everything in tubs in the order they would be in the head and yea will do. Out a curiosity I got my head there at the weekend and had a look and the two dots on the cam gears were directly lined up but where the service bolt goes was sitting off so I couldn't get the bolt through ?

Tried looking springs online but could only find uprated ones which I'm not interested in spending 200 odd quid on. Id like to change them anyway just. Get standards from Toyota ? An no, no uprated cams or anything will be going in

Aye I will do mate. Any of use suggest getting new springs ? Just standard or is it not essential to do then ? Just head skimmed new seals etc

Yea just gonna do it myself and think I saw them? That the 12 part 4efte bottom end and head rebuild? Watched then all just wondered if anyone had done it and had any other advice. Cheers though mate !

Is it possible to buy standard pistons and rods for the 4efte new. Had a look online and only seem to be able to find forged ones

Any body have any problems with rust on their little starlet ?
