  1. Hi mate,

Were you able to get the adapter plate for the TD04L to bolt onto the CT9 Manifold?

I am running in the same dilemma now, I do have a decent CT9 manifold and want to go TD04L, I don't have the money to buy a manifold for the new turbo.

    Thanks,

  2. Hi all Been a rough couple of months. Made some good progress on the SR a few weeks ago. Since then one of my lads has had some serious health problems so lost all interest. I'm gutted but what's gone on has knocked me for 6, really don't have time to Finnish her off so not sure what I'm doing with the SR just yet
  3. No sorry bud. Last clear one I tried taking off ended up snapping
  4. Got a black Glanza spoiler here with one in bud. 40 posted for spoiler and light
  5. I'll have a look see if what will work. Could save a job doing it that way also. Is it removable then? I haven't looked as haven't got round to that bit tbh
  6. little update. The sr is all back together 98% done now. just have the tps and map connectors from the 82 loom too add and split the thermo wires from the single 4efe connector to run 3 connectors for the 82 engine. then add fluids and bleed clutch then it should fire up. id be telling porkies if i said this was easy, but in all fairness it has not been overly hard. hoping to have it all done and boxed off by next weekend, id imagine there will be a few teething problems as with any engine swap.
  7. PM on way James.. I've managed to get the high pressure one to fit. Just the low pressure one I need
  8. I'm after a 4efte power steering hose for my conversion. After sending money for one off of a lad on one of the Facebook page's the lad has decided not to respond. Someone help please. Tia
  9. Started stripping my 82 loom. Tracing the wires I need back to ECU etc and labeling them as to where they will go on my 4efe loom. So far all seems easy enough, few more connectors to sort as the 4efte had 3 connectors to the thermostat housing rather than just the one. Anyway I'm writing down what I'm doing as I go and taking pictures. Will also be writing what wire goes where etc. Will post up a how to thread if anyone feels this would be helpful. Big benefit with doing it this way is you shouldn't have to touch the interior (apart from adding ecu and few wires to it)
  10. Did think this myself as had the det3 already wired in. However coil is completely different and much safer with knock sensor. Also fte ecu is able to read boost where as the standard ecu doesn't. The det3 just chucks fuel in with the boost rather than read anything (in piggy back anyway) not sure on standalone

    15" alloys

Got some here going cheap. Tyres got really decent tread £80 They are black though
  12. engine is in. now im currently fitting the 4efe loom to everything that it fits, once ive done this i will take off the sleeves and add and take away what bits i need/dont (it really isnt that much) then re-sleeve.. not the best way to go about it but will make ity easier to trace back wires etc hoping to be back on the road for next weekend
  13. plan wrote down for wiring the SR. work begins tomorrow

  14. yes bud thats the only issue i can see. i have the ep82 fuse box here so i can see what goes where.. sounds like a nightmare but i really do think i can have the wiring done over a weekend
  15. yeah that pretty much what im going to try. read a few builds now of people just adapting the 4efe loom to take whats needed. this way round you don't need to touch the interior. heres a little gem i found on another page.. This seems like a daunting task, it really does, but some things I did for my conversion using an EP82 loom/engine/ECU which may help you are... - Try to use as much of the EP91 loom as you can, all you should end up doing is chopping a few connectors (because they don't fit on the EP82 engine) and running a few extra wires to the ECU - Try to use your EP
