turbominicooper
Which combo? 5efhe rod and gudgeon pin with 4efte piston. Or 5efhe rod with 4efte piston and gudgeon pin?
maddox710
The 5efhe pistons have a crown so will increase compression and 4efte gudgeon pins are thicker and stronger if i remember correctly
turbominicooper
So use the 5efhe rods with the 4efte piston and pins?
maddox710
What setup you doing again dude, because if you use the 4e pistons they will lower the comp on a stockish setup and make the car feel abit more lazy. We'e ii yyu uused the 5e pistons you'l ppck up a good bit of compression making the car more responsive
turbominicooper
Just making my 5efhte into a 5efte by swapping the 4efte pistons into it.

5e colin
dont matter what pins you use really they wont snap but rule of thumbs is use the pins from the piston it comes from
Sudden
*reinforcing what Colin said* when you buy oem pistons they come with a pin, so always keep the pin paired with the piston.
gorganl2000
i'm agreeing with 5e Colin and Sudden...keep the package together
