Wasn't planning on doing much but I had a good offer so thought I'd go for it. Looks pretty good to me!

Gave it a wash and made it look presentable and that's it for now

Was looking at selling it but I had hardly any interest which was disappointing.

I've decided to break the car and a mate is having some bits off me and putting back to stock granny mobile.

It'll still be my daily until whenever but I'll keep this updated anyways

Well the day has come. I've sold the car. :(

Miss it already but it's gone to a good home and the plans I've been told what's gonna happen to it are really exciting! I'm sure I'll own another starlet some day, preferably a glanza but we shall soon see :p

Well after about 3 months of constantly missing my old starlet I bought another one 😂

Was a mates who needed it gone, so I had to go for it.

The car is basically the same as my old one, but the bodywork is better, paintwork needs polishing again tho but what's new with a red starlet! It already had a Glanza spoiler and tinted windows when I got it so I decided to go full glanza rep on it.

Managed to get lucky and get glanza bumpers and bonnet in red, not in great condition but saves me paying extra to get it painted.

Again tho the red is awful but once it's all the same shade it'll look good (I hope!)

I know it's been done a million times but it was something my mate started so I thought I'd finish it off and go from there.

I've got a set of wheels I need putting on and a few other bits sorting but for now it's a working progress! 👍🏻

Done some more stuff to car today

Wind deflectors on

New wheels on

Stripped the rear seatbelts and plastics out and had glanza side plastics put in.

Also got my side skirts and sorted a few other bits which have been on the list

IMG-20200307-WA0005.thumb.jpeg.529e00dfafed8d95a79202d565c0336d.jpegIMG_20200307_152437.thumb.jpg.ab54f80d244130125e09e9da224aa668.jpgIMG_20200307_111125.thumb.jpg.02293f14d64f933b8c527cefe9862f61.jpg

Needs a good clean and a proper polish, had a go on a wing and came out well, I have a set of glanza wings in white but I think I might just polish the original up and keep them on. IMG_20200307_162331.thumb.jpg.6270b03b4c8b641dc4f82a1312f3dc64.jpg

Tyres need pumping I know 😂😂😂

Booked my japfest ticket last week so need the car looking good by then so more will be done soon.

Managed to get loads done this week being stuck in the house with nothing better to do!

Fitted the fog light so have a set now

IMG_20200331_133149.thumb.jpg.272fcf78e71e38b3af9dd15d40cafa8a.jpg

Fitted some LED bulbs to the interior lights and a new gear gator

Carbon wrapped clock surround and was going to fit a set of GLS clocks but got shafted with a set that was broke 👎🏻

IMG_20200401_140622.thumb.jpg.9d073df4bd70d38b23af717e8bc0e703.jpg

And finally fitted the side skirts. They are black but I'm not sure to paint them or match the spoiler and roof the same colour 🤔

Car still needs polishing and servicing but ages for that cause there ain't a show for ages 😂

Bought a few more bits but haven't turned up yet, managed to take advantage of the sunny weather and underseal the rear arches.

IMG_20200409_123818.thumb.jpg.5595a2f564978eb10e139fc43dd11050.jpg

Didn't cost me a penny cause I had the underseal from my last starlet so happy days 👍🏻

Still loads on the list to do!

Few more things have been done, making the most of being at home and 3D printed some parcel shelf clips.

IMG_20200502_150250.thumb.jpg.00324a0cb2f50b84c467ee493a8b54a5.jpg

Works a treat. Also been trying to make some headlight clips and the test one I made is pretty close but I'll fit them and see how it fits. Watch this space.

Got some front glanza interior plastics to go with the rears. The rear plastics are in awful nic but they'll do for now.

No idea what the button was for from the previous owner but I like to think it was for a ejector seat 😂

Got a new gear gator to fit and just a general clean up. Got the side strips off but need to get the residue off and give the car a polish.

I got a quote to paint the spoiler and side skirts in red so it'll all come together nicely.

Lucky bastard having the 3D printer. The parcel shelf clips look spot on, good effort! Do show your headlight mounts, impressive if you can make the adjusters

Haha I've had it a while and thought I'd put it to good use! I will do mate 👍

So after lots of trail and error I finally got a headlight clip that is spot on. It doesn't have the tab but you don't need it. If you need to take it off just use a flat head screwdriver on the bottom of it.

Fits like a glove. If anyone is interested in a set, let me know.

With still being off work and haven't lots of spare time I bought some carbon wrap and covered a few bits to match the interior.

It ain't a bad job for a first try but it was cheap and improves the inside.

Also got a rubber wheel and got the side strip adhesive off, it made quick work of it but was a pig of a job

IMG_20200514_194705.thumb.jpg.6c63f47cadaa7112d98eb66611c5424f.jpg

Bought a rear plate surround and I'm gonna try and do the same I done with the old starlet and smooth the lights out, watch this space!

Sold my Gen 6 Celica so the starlet is back on the road! 😎

I've managed to get a few more jobs done. Headlights polished IMG_20200611_120549.thumb.jpg.5826e2ec0050bdb462d95c59be695fe1.jpg

And I meshed the front grill, only took 5 minutes and looks the businessIMG_20200527_132941.thumb.jpg.dd451448b70ffa23e76d3cb793115eae.jpg

Still waiting for a quote on the paint for bits but just glad it's back on the road!
