Tiger31
Does anyone know of a repair kit option for a dropped drivers door hinge? I've seen a pin and bush kit for some makes, but not come across a Starlet kit. Thanks in advance.
SpoonalTap
I just got replacement hinges off a scrapped starlet to replace the hinges on my drivers door. I can't quite remember but I think the holes in my hinges had widened which caused the door to sag. i suppose you could probably drill the hole out and fit a bush but easier to just buy a 2nd hand set of hinges. Sorry I know this doesn't answer your question but that's how I sorted my droopy door.
BMX-RIG
Have a set of hinges here. I always put it down to a lack of grease which causes wear over time, or an incorrectly fitted door.
Tiger31
Dorman in USA do repair kits, a bush and pin, like you suggest, but Starlet is not on their list. I may have to resort to a pair of hinges. Cheers
Tiger31
Yes, lack of lubrication sound like the cause. If I can't sort locally, I'll come back to you on those hinges. Cheers
