Since fitting the whiteline anti lift kit with the whiteline front ARB the ARB has been fouling on the underside of the car. I find this crazy considering they are from the same manufacturer but they are great quality so I decided to make some spacer plates.

As you can see, the plates have lifted the ARB out of contact. It also avoids the wishbones too. The thickness is roughly the same as the anti lift kit spacer. I also got hold of some new longer M-8 bolts from work.

I've double and triple checked all of the recent work I’ve done, everything is nice and tight so I’m looking forward to driving it tomorrow.

A bit of slow progress as I was away from the car for a few weeks. I’ve now fitted a new hand brake cable, drilled and re tapped the support brackets and under sealed to the spare wheel well.

I spent hours and and hours cleaning everything up and sealing but it’s finally getting there.

Far too much time between updates but I've been really busy.

Wanted to get the front wings mounted properly so ordered a load of clips from Toyota, total rip off but I need them as there's no point in bodging.

Just waiting for some brand new screws as I was reusing the old ones but some were missing and most are butchered, that will line everything up properly.

In the mean time i'm taking the engine mount off so I can get the timing cover off as I think the cam seal is leaking. Bit of a ball ache but I want this thing to be fluid tight.

Thought I’d turn my attention to the boot area while I’m waiting for some sealant for the rocker.

As you can see, someone decided to try and sound proof it but then changed their mind and made a half arsed attempt at removing it. Took me ages to remove all the major bits.

My plan is to carpet the boot floor then cut some mdf to create an actual useable boot as the spare wheel covers aren’t up to much. The boot carpet I’ve found can then go over the top.

Much tidier now. I’ve also fitted the rear bumper properly along with the rear arch liners. Took ages as there were various snapped bolts that needed drilling and re threading. Edging closer to the MOT.

Well, not that many people seem interested in this thread but she passed MOT today and is now back on the road!

No advisories which I’m b happy with. The lads at the test station seems to absolutely love the thing.

In a funny turn of events, the previous owner Connor approached me a month or two ago asking to have her back. So we agreed a deal and she goes next week. I literally get a weeks worth of fun for all my hard work but it was well worth it just to save her.

I also found a new project which you may be able to see lurking in the background.
