Made a start on the wings yesterday started with a 320 grit on my sander wasn't doing much so changed to a 240 grit. Started sanding through the paint got to the primer which turns out is still soft. Possibly why  it's all cracked so will be sanding back to the gel coat when my supply arrive. Going to take a while to sand them back. IMG_20200514_144230.thumb.jpg.33f9a7cec28a37ef38eada53e6f4ecb5.jpgIMG_20200514_171113.thumb.jpg.50ba6878e9f5e52af18f76b04c291c1e.jpg

Lovely styling, I'm really enjoying your build.

Keep the progress coming.

I'm back at work in Oxfordshire now so my cars back at home, and I'm itching to get back on it.

Thanks bud it's keeping me sane during this lockdown and furlough I'll keep plugging away every now and then.

Little bit more done on the wings today the fitment of the indicator units into the the wings was shocking to say the least. So little time spent with the dremel this afternoon alot better now. There is a little gap at the top but I think that's down to the moulding of the wings ither way im much happier. Last picture that are just resting in there.

Unfortunately the sleeve was a little to wide right size to go over the end of the crank though . Measured the depth I need so I'll order the right one. The arms drop links tie rods ect has all of sudden gone very rusty so all that will come off during the week to strip down and repaint or replace. May as well do it now while its all apart.

Oops things got out of hand haha. Coilovers - lower arms - antiroll bar off. Gonna refresh everything I also have a stuck CV in one of the hubs unsure what one though that should be fun trying to remove that. May get the wheel bearing done while it's all off as I've never done them in my owner ship.

Today was the day to try remove the CV joint from the hub that has been stuck ever since I've owned the car. Tried to get it out once before years ago and failed. Today was the day I got it out. Safe to say I'll be using coper grease when I refit everything. Quick lick of paint now I'm waiting for some new boots as one has cracked and the other dosent look to clever. Enjoying tinkering for once.

Nice refresh feller

Thanks dude.

Made a start on stripping the coilovers today think I've found my steering issues I've had for a few years. Now it's the fun of trying to get the parts I need as BC racing uk don't list the bits yay.

Today's venture was to remove the other spring seat it was seized to the shaft that was fun manage to get that off with wd40 and brute force. Managed to get the bearings out aswell so ive orded some replacements hope they fit. I did want to raise the coilovers by 5m but the feet are seized solid yay.
