morgey
Haha we literally spliced a few wires into the bay fuse box. And a handful needed splicing to the clocks and fuel pump etc but that all comes down under the glove box. The rest don't need touching as they stay with the 20v loom and ecu. This needs a tubby anyway. 20v wouldn't do it justice imo

Socks
About time this stunner got an fte! Good lad! Done ALOT of these conversions myself... Your best off stripped the seats and carpet out and putting an entire glanza loom in Ryan! You'll need to solder up the fuel pump connector and the Glanza tank is different tho! Bar that, easy peasy! Ryan5793
cheers guys appreciate it not sure how long it will take but its not coming back out till its right and im happy with it azz. yeah you was next to me at japfest lol wouldnt worry mate you could tell it was a minter even with a little dirt matt. we was looking at the looms last weekend and was thinking it must be easier to change the whole lot lol I've got a glanza tank for it too so that should make things a little easier too if i get stuck tho il give you a shout also what do people to with fueling with the charchol can? how can i remove it as its not a good looking thing haha
jonnygt
Im jelous of the wheels and interior.....very!
Socks
cheers guys appreciate it matt. we was looking at the looms last weekend and was thinking it must be easier to change the whole lot lol iv got a glanza tank for it too so that should make things a little easier too if i get stuck tho il give you a shout also what do people to with fueling with the charchol can? how can i remove it as its not a good looking thing haha The charcoal canister can be removed and the pipe to the fuel tank can be left to atmosphere... No point changing the tank Ryan, just change the pump inside OR buy a 255lph pump.... Just cut and solder the connector for the fuel pump assembly. All the colours match and are the same... Easy Peasy! Also, the Wiring Loom on a Facelift Starlet go thru into the engine bay behind the engine AND in the passenger footwell. On a Facelift starlet they go through ONLY in passenger footwell... Hope this helps!
Ryan5793
cheers socks! i nicked the tank from this for my daily sr as that one was leaking so need the glanza tank now really and have a uprated fuel pump for it too glad you cleared that up on the engine looms, my mate bought round his big hole cutters so cut it in the middle for where the 96 glanza one is lol so more progress on it this weekend swapping the whole loom from a 96 glanza.got the rears all tucked away so looking more like it should on the inside again so then at the end of today linked up the battery and got a life.. which left me very happy with it so far although still looking sorry for itself next weekend (depending on work) i want to get it off to the paintshop and get the bay freshened up, and then the fun rebuild can begin
Ryan5793
Got the car to the paintshop this weekend and got the front arches undersealed then painted along with the bay as i feel it was starting to look really tired. Not the easiest thing I've ever painted but think it came out really well, also got lots of other little bits painted that i didnt get any pics of so will save that till they are all fitted. anyways some pics And starting to go back together again, also know i need to do something with the old bolts before the engine goes in too itching to get it back now!
