Matt1878 Posted July 15, 2015 Author Share Posted July 15, 2015 Lack of update - update.So I got myself a nice race spec rocker setup just before going away on holiday.Here it is fittedNew gasket, washers, spark plug oil seals etc.. Happy with that.Found it was leaking slightly so nipped the nuts up a little ( I had already done them to 7nm as recommended) and snapped one of the cam cap studs. BASTARD. Got one sorted whilst I was away from mike@TuningDevelopments who kindly sent it out to me ready for me getting home. I've had to take the spacers off for the moment until I can get my rear arches flailed and rolled and also get myself some aftermarket wings for the front.HOWEVER. I will be honest. I have been thinking about selling it. Not sure what it is as I don't really have anItch for another car. I was thinking about maybe a GT or even another white glanza.Unsure.Who knows!! Matt1878 Posted July 20, 2015 Author Share Posted July 20, 2015 Finally got to drive the starlet again today..Had to use a little gasket silicone with the new rocker gasket to stop it from leaking around the dizzy area. The head was nice and smooth and I cleaned out rocker cover really well. Seems to have done the job now.Still in two minds wether to make the switch to a GT or not? I'd love another white V too. I just don't think people would be willing to pay what I would value it at due to time and effort put into the car. I have decided to do some other bits and bobs and sort the turbo out and hopefully I will end up loving it again. I love the noise it makes.. Easily the best sounding car I've owned!
