kevmcc90
How much we talking to get an oem gearbox reconditioned?
Cushion
Varies in price dude, depending whats gone internally. Probably looking anywhere from £120 - £400 I could imagine.Ill be looking to get mine rebuilt if it doesn't solve my gear selecting problem.
JamesD89
Not worth doing mate you could pick up a second hand box for £100 or even less.
TimD
I think i'd rather spend £300 on a rebuilt and no doubt waranted gearbox, than £100 on an unknown!
kevmcc90
Yeah I'd rather rebuild than take chance on a second hand box

Any parts on top are obviously charged. A synchro's from toyota Is generally £30ish Bearings from toyota are £80-140 (theres 4 main ones)Gears vary loads from 30-60 for single ones to 250ish for 2nd which includes reverse. daniel_g
We send a lot of boxes to A.S.K Transmission in Falkirk, top work never had any come backs with them. Worth a phone call at least. I imagine it will be about 500 but really depends whats wrong with it.
