*GlanzaTurboV*
Do you have a sound comparison video?

Banbury Glanza
The knocking sound is because the pistons are slapping because they havnt warmed up
rinseep82
Depends what pistons are in tho some don't slap
maddox710
Compression ratios will make a noticable difference Exhaust?Manifolds? Some much that can make a different noise
*GlanzaTurboV*
Going to have to take the sump off to be sure, only a 10min job Atleast
Gilly
Depends what pistons are being used I.e wiesco/wossners and the clearances, i.e piston/wall gap. wiescos do make some noise on first start up but once warm are pretty silent, wossners are very quiet due to a different material used then the wiescos. ro55ifumi
Mines quite and is running wossners, again depends on many variables, as described above + what oil is used John
H_D
Wossner will be quieter as they have more silicone content and can have tighter clearances than wiesco.
AdamB
Wossner will be quieter as they have more silicone content and can have tighter clearances than wiesco. This, Ross pistons also slap from cold.
Dean_mc88
mine does sound different haven't a clue what pistons though just know TMD built the engine
