Ryan5793
guessing you have adjusted the idle screw on the tps mate? think its there anyways failing that my revs are wherever it likes at the moment, its had a tps so im planning on changing the idle control valve to see of that helps with mine. 5e colin
and if al the above is tryd then in the end it will only leave you with a fucked wax valve you will need to block the hole in the TB at the bottom just before the butter fly
Starlet__SR
Vacuum leak?Day
5T4R7ET N/A
Check all the lines first for vacuum leak, remove intercooler pipe and stick your finger over the little holes inside the throttle bodyIf you block off wax stat, then you will need to loop the coolant line it uses, remove the wax stat and block it up with some epoxy putty. mikey4410
yeah pretry sure its a vac leak.
PaulStarletSR
Pulled the vac line out of the Map sensor and the revs dropped from 1600rpm to a healthy 800rpm, exactly how it should be.so bought another Map sensor earlier and that should sort it.its weird because when I rev it with the vac line plugged into the Map sensor, at 4000rpm the EML will come on and stay on until I turn her off.then if I pull out the vac line and rev her up, no EML so aye, moneys on this existing Map sensor bein fucked
