Newbie from Ireland

Recommended Posts

Hello everyone!
Let me introduce myself.
I live in Ireland (Galway) and I am a very proud owner of Toyota Starlet!

I owned '91 EP81 before and there was few other Toyotas as well:

- '93 Jap Imp Corolla SE Ltd

- Then it was '99 JDM Estima Lucida Eluceo (AWD)

- Also a Landcruiser

- Then, a Mazda 6 (sorry;) but ALSO a '98 EP91 Starlet which I bought initially for my wife (nice excuse isn't it?icon_wink.gif

It is just a standard Irish Starlet... but how adorable!
I'm a 2nd owner after some matronly lady from Galway hence 40k mileage only when bought 5 years ago with FSH and all the stamps etc (63k now...).

The dilemma is:
Keep it genuine 'as is' untill she becomes a youngtimer/vintage or should I go for some tunning?

Thanks!

Thanks a million everyone for such a warm welcome!

I do want to keep her clean and tidy, the interior is also almost as new!

But to be honest I couldn't resist and I had to go for some basic stuff already (but as starletmadyo adviced it's all easily changable):

- alloys + TOYO Proxes T1R Tires

- clear indicators & repeaters

- Kayaba shocks

- A'PEXi intake kit:

The plan is:

- to lower and stiffen her a little bit (ARB, strut brace, springs, spacers, lateral rod?)
(I actually have purchased a TRD ARB yesterday:))) need polybushings thou'...

- back box (HKS Super Drager already purchased but waiting to be fitted):

- rear TTE spoiler from SR (not big Glanza type!) - also have one already waiting for red painting...

Most of these are only cosmetics/optical so would be easy to remove again just in case some day someone is paying big bucks for non-modified genuine starlet....Wink)

Any ideas/advice/comments - most welcome!!!

Cheers!!

Question for admin (I'm kinda new to this...) - should I move this thread at this stage if I want to post more info about further progress or should I start a fresh new one in other section?
Thanks!!!
