adzy
few small updates the past week or 2 got a laguna splitter of Ryan_EP82 GT and fitted it also got a rear brace of Hookie which i painted up and then fitted also made a floor for my boot as i was sick of everything sinking round the spare wheel and stuck some insulation onto it to keep the noise and vibration down, it was a bit of a jigsaw as i was using scrap pieces lol thats all for now, thanks for looking
adzy
few bits and pieces have been done over the past few weeks gave my headlights and fogs a quick buff, this is the only comparison pic i have tho my starter motor gave up, so i got a new one from hookie, and bought a powerflow exhaust of him aswel gave it a quick polish fitted a new adjustable actuator exhaust mounted with new powerflex bushes i then set about getting this lot fitted, superpro bushes and JD tuning engine and gear box mount bushes, new ball joints and new droplinks out with the old and the new ready to go in new and old ARB, new one is a TRD powdercoated red and fitted engine mount done, this is the only decent pic i took of them and finally have these to go in at some point i assume i'll need red brake/tail light bulbs now as these have a clear housing on the bottom? thanks for looking Adam
Aaronb93
Looking good mate. That exhaust system came up brilliant after a polish. My friend had a glanza with upgraded engine mount bushes and the engine would vibrate the whole car, coins rattling on inside it lolIs the whole bushe upgrade dear to buy? I was thinking of getting some in the future as mine are all stock.
adzy
Thanks lad!Yeh that's exactly what mine is like now! The cup holders and coins rattle like mad lolI had gathered mine up over s few months so it had spread the cost abit, but I'd say roughly £160 for the front end? That's engine/gearbox, lower arms and ARB. Worth doing I think, I was suprised at how much better it drives, and I still haven't really got testing it out well on the backroads lol
Aaronb93
That's not too bad then. I don't think I'll do stuff like that until I get mine on the road. No rush really.I'd imagine everything feels a lot more firmer then

Charlie28
got a bit more done now in the past few weeks finally got round to removing the aircon so much space now! got the decat fiitted too, the cat was far heavier than i expected! then i went about getting the front mount intercooler fitted. the brackets that came with it were rubbish so i made up my own and attached them to the cross member with rivnuts intercooler is real solid now, also the size difference i then trimmed the bumper a bit, this is not final, just for now i quite like this one i found on google but i'm still undecided on what way to cut it so your suggestions and input would be appreciated! thanks for looking That's my car

Much door damage or anything? Was able to bend it back in ok, very slight dent just above door where they forced the screwdriver down in, and bit of paint damage at top and bottom of b pillar
Aaronb93
Holly crap mate... lucky they never took off with it and definitely invest in a alarm and a few sneaky kill switches. Can't have anything nice to yourself over here.
adzy
Have got a toad alarm now, just need to get it fitted asap!I know, scumbags the lot of them, while I had to take a day of work to get it sorted they were prob lying in their bed!
ttestarlet
Sorry to hear about that mate, I was super paranoid driving my starlet daily over here. I went to town on security. Starlets are easy stole as youve experienced. First thing they do is bend the door back to pull the door lock pin. So I removed my door pin, if it's not there they can't get in unless they smash a window. It's free to do and a brilliant deterant. Second thing to do is snap the steering lock. So a snap off steering wheel boss will prevent this. So the only way now to get the car is to actually get the keys and the steering wheel which unfortunately makes your house the next target or yourself the next target. Third thing is ignition, so they've got your keys and your steering wheel with your alarm key fob. The car is there's for the taking but you can still stop them by having kill switches, I'd suggest multiple eg ignition and fuel pump. Alarms are overated in my opinion, they can be bypassed and even if they don't get away with the car, it will still have the door and steering lock damaged.
