I was going to say something but didn't want you thinking wtf hahaha

Seeing your glanza for real it's really clean mate. When I was behind you when you were pulling out of the BP I heard your dump valve and it made me want to get my glanza on the road so badly haha

Now you know what ibiza to look out for when your in carrick

Looking good mate. That exhaust system came up brilliant after a polish. My friend had a glanza with upgraded engine mount bushes and the engine would vibrate the whole car, coins rattling on inside it lol

Is the whole bushe upgrade dear to buy? I was thinking of getting some in the future as mine are all stock.

Thanks lad!

Yeh that's exactly what mine is like now! The cup holders and coins rattle like mad lol

I had gathered mine up over s few months so it had spread the cost abit, but I'd say roughly £160 for the front end? That's engine/gearbox, lower arms and ARB.

Worth doing I think, I was suprised at how much better it drives, and I still haven't really got testing it out well on the backroads lol

That's not too bad then. I don't think I'll do stuff like that until I get mine on the road. No rush really.

I'd imagine everything feels a lot more firmer then

Yeh it's handy enough to do, mine is my daily so I can't take it of the road lol

Yes nice and firm, and actually less harsh on bumps now!

Nice upgrades :)

John

Thanks mate :)

IMG_3854.jpg

Got my 98 spec rear lights fitted

IMG_3828.jpg

got a bit more done now in the past few weeks

finally got round to removing the aircon

IMG_3407.jpg

IMG_3409.jpg

so much space now!

IMG_3416.jpg

got the decat fiitted too, the cat was far heavier than i expected!

IMG_3410.jpg

then i went about getting the front mount intercooler fitted.

the brackets that came with it were rubbish so i made up my own

IMG_3433.jpg

and attached them to the cross member with rivnuts

IMG_3443.jpg

intercooler is real solid now, also the size difference

IMG_3452.jpg

i then trimmed the bumper a bit, this is not final, just for now

IMG_3458.jpg

i quite like this one i found on google

IMG_3460.jpg

but i'm still undecided on what way to cut it so your suggestions and input would be appreciated!

thanks for looking :)

That's my car :)

post-13088-0-00876900-1442662506_thumb.j

So came out of the house a few days ago and my car wasn't there :/

Found it around the corner and down the street a bit, some scumbags had tried to take her.

Thankfully they didn't seem to have got it started!

So an alarm has been ordered now!

Sorry I don't know how to rotate the pic from the direct upload on my phone.

The bastards! Much door damage or anything?

Was able to bend it back in ok, very slight dent just above door where they forced the screwdriver down in, and bit of paint damage at top and bottom of b pillar

Sorry to hear about that mate, I was super paranoid driving my starlet daily over here. I went to town on security. Starlets are easy stole as youve experienced.

First thing they do is bend the door back to pull the door lock pin. So I removed my door pin, if it's not there they can't get in unless they smash a window. It's free to do and a brilliant deterant.

Second thing to do is snap the steering lock. So a snap off steering wheel boss will prevent this. So the only way now to get the car is to actually get the keys and the steering wheel which unfortunately makes your house the next target or yourself the next target.

Third thing is ignition, so they've got your keys and your steering wheel with your alarm key fob. The car is there's for the taking but you can still stop them by having kill switches, I'd suggest multiple eg ignition and fuel pump.

Alarms are overated in my opinion, they can be bypassed and even if they don't get away with the car, it will still have the door and steering lock damaged.
