  1. Yeah but part of me was thinking that it could have been half changed by previous owners I did that, coming up 1998. Hmmm... think i'll take it toyota and see what they say. cheers for the advice boys!
  2. R reg. All the documents i have say 1998. Importers are dodgy bastards so im not surprised

Yeah it has the correct front bumper, rear lights, white dials, The seats are the correct type too, it had an aftermarket steering wheel. im kinda hoping your right, it seems they would have had to change a lot to make it seem like a newer model. Im just a bit wary of its past after seeing that
  4. Hey guys, great forum. Found loads of helpful info on here! I purchased what i thought to be a 1998 toyota starlet about a year ago but upon inspection i've spotted that all the seat belts actually say 1996. As much as it seems to have all the parts to be a 98 i highly expect it to be a 96, cant think why all the seat belts would be changed. Anyone know how to check their vin for history?
