After weeks of trouble with various shit, it's coming together a little bit. Got an fmic fitted. Just waiting for the bonnet that I paid for months ago to turn up.

Yeah, find a proper funnel as suggested. My engine bay currently stinks of gearbox juice due to a "slight" spillage! Filler hole is 17mm iirc? And I think the drain plug is 24?

I've driven to work but nothing extravagant. Still need to adjust the boost back up to what I was running before. As soon as I've got it setup properly and given it some beans il let you know! ))

Checked all wires/connectors and everything appears to be intact. Temp gauge still not moving

Sorry if this is the wrong forum! I fitted my new ct9 hybrid today and a different manifold. Obviously new coolant and oil. Now, I've been taking it out on small test drives so I can adjust the boost back up to .9 bar. I've been out in it twice and the temperature gauge by the speedo does not seem to be working. The coolant is heating up but the gauge doesn't seem to want to play. After 10 minutes or so, It would usually be showing as up to temperature. Why would this have happened after changing the turbo? Could I have knocked a sensor somewhere? Where is the temp sensor? Is it possible that because it is running at less than .5 bar, it is just taking a lot longer to get up to a recognisable temperature? Any help appreciated

Ha! Yeah the guy did try telling me it had "modified internals" but couldn't give me any proof.

Turbo fitted and running. Slowly adjusting boost back up to where it should be. Only problem at the moment is my temperature gauge appears to have stopped working? Took the car for a short test drive which pre-turbo change would have brought it up to temp but now doesn't move? Any suggestions?

It's half way fitted. Hit a problem with manifold studs so it's all on hold until I get a new stud next week. What can I do for ya?

Cars been smoking a bit so sent my turbo off to Liam at Midland Turbo. Took delivery of my shiny new ct9 hybrid today! In other news, I have a new found hatred for people who over tighten sump plugs. Weather dependant, will be fitting the turbo tomorrow!

Fitted new dizzy cap, rotor arm, rocker cover gasket and spark plug seals yesterday. Cured the sporadic misfire I was having trouble with! Anyways! After a quick wash and polish!

Thought I might put a thread together for my ballistic biscuit tin. Picked up my Glanza in December. It came with some choice modifications, like loads of awful red stickers and some naff black wheels. Front bumper is scuffed and the bonnet has been punched up by the wanky intercooler that has been "professionally" fitted. Understandably, I haven't taken many photos of it! There she is! This was after about 2 hours of scratching a load of the stickers off. "Castrol" and "Brembo" plastered all over it. Maybe I'm being ignorant and it was actually a rally car build. Anyways the only thing I have really changed is the awful vauxhall wheels it was sat on. She now has a shiny set of 5Zigen Proracer GN+ to roll about on. Will get some more pictures up when she's polished up a bit!

Anyone got a front glanza badge kicking about their shed? I think you can get them from toyota but I'm a lazy shit and would much prefer one delivered to my door. FANKS

It is yeah. Needs a bit of work and it's done some mileage but I've fallen in love with it! The wheels have got to go though!
