So you might of seen my other post when i had first bought the car, if not you can see it on my profile. Just a bit of an update since then as i haven't posted in a while. Used to be CRAIG-SR old car many years ago. Was an SR but didnt know which thread to post in. If not, heres what it looked like Since then i had the head gasket blow so decided to learn how to do it myself and give it a try, went absolutely great and the car is perfect again. I used a athena 1.2 metal head gasket so hopefully wont have that problem again and also had the head skimmed/rebuilt with genuine toyota stem seals, valves re-lapped & clearances done. Quite proud of myself for doing head gasket it by myself . Pic of head off Also bought a new rocker cover as i snapped my PCV valve and found a cheap rocker cover so sprayed that soon as i got it, also sprayed the front strut brace as you will see in other pics Also fitted the new manifold that you will have seen i bought in my previous post, a new hybrid turbo which had been absolutely great at 0.8 bar! Bought myself a side exit couple of weeks ago and got that fitted & it sounds epic and made the car alot quicker in every way, less spool time, longer lasting power, more torque, crap cut out on the bumper but looks better now i have sorted that. Turbo Pic of side exit fitted, love the look of it. Better now the bad cut out is sorted. Gave the car a full machine polish and flatted the wings down and polished them back up and they come up like glass Car will be going in for a respray soon as my dads a paint sprayer think ive decided on a dark metallic grey but dont know if i can bring myself to do it as the black looks so nice Also swapped me old 14" Enkei's for some real nice 15" XXR wheels which have literally transformed the look of the car & it looks ALOT smarter now! Few pics of how it stands now Next thing is window tints then get an E-manage blue and mapped at 1 or 1.1 bar. then thats the everything i want for the engine sorted for now. forgive me if i uploaded the same pic more than once, gets very confusing lol. Glad i got the car now as it was from a breakers yard and bet he would of broke it if i didnt buy it as it was in pretty rough shape. love the results so far. Please let me know what you think

It already has a decat on it mart1 and it may be iamlegend, it did have carbon mirrors on it but when I bought it it never came with them. And thanks morgey I'll be keeping that car for a very long time maybe forever. My favourite cars. I'll post a thread up in the builds in progress thanks matey.

You have any problems with it rattling or knocking at all? Or back box coming off? Mine droops down at the back near the back box because there isn't anythint holding the end of the centre pipe in apart from the back box.

Please can somebody tell me how many hangers there should be on an ep91. There are. 2 hooks for hangers on my centre pipe but only 1 hanger on the under part of the car (left side) so the other side isn't hanging on anything and there isn't a hanger attached to the car for it too be connected so it's a little wobbly at the moment. Also at the back of the centre pipe before it connects to the back box there isn't anything attached to the car for it to be connected to a rubber... BUT there isn't a hanger to the back of the centre pipe either so it's relying on the back box to be held up right which isn't good enough as I found out yesterday when the backbox disconnected from the centre pipe leaving me laid in a puddle tying my t shirt around it to the head shield til I got home (I was in the middle of nowhere) so my question is.. Should there be 2 hangers for the front of the centre pipe one on either side, should there be one at the back of the centre pipe to stop it drooping down? The back box is held on okay apart from the centre pipe weighing it down. I might have to fabricate some custom hangers and weld them on etc. it's a POWERFLOW exhausr system.

I will let you know what it's like mate. It's in at tuning developments next Friday, the eventually I want a td04 turbo so that mani will be up for sale. But this one has a strengthening brace welded on it.

Also cleaned the engine bay up.. Going to spray the strut brace and rocker cover.

So i bought this car 2 weeks ago now i think, i found it on ebay and it seemed really nice. I went to view it and it was in pretty rough shape in some places, the spoiler was loose, the skirts was a little lose, the exhaust wasn't held very well, the manifold was slightly cracked and the car was filthy. I ended up buying it anyway as i got it at a good price, and seen as it's my first Glanza (SR) i wanted something that needed a bit of work so i can learn about them in the process. I drove 3 hours there to pick it up and drove the car back. The car was great and didnt skip a beat although it smokes when you boost it. This is how it looked when i first got it. The next day of owning it i changed the stereo that didn't work to a brand new one, i took everything out of the car (interior, handbrake suround etc) hoovered the hell out of it! i fixed the seats and interior back in with new matching screw/nuts/bolts because they were all odd and it looked abit crap. I then fitted new exhaust mounts on the back box and centre pipe. I replaced the indicators as one was missing a lens and the windscreen wipers were odd so replaced them. Yesterday i decided the wheel spray job and colour looked abit rubbish so decided to spray them up myself in a nice dark glittery purple. Heres the wheels after being sprayed. Also sprayed the gear nob as it was very tatty I also bought a new exhaust manifold from tuning developments and got it booked in for a full service inc gearbox oil, engine oil, waterpump and timing belt etc. Manifold will be fitted by them as whilst its in. Im going to get the car a full detail to smarten it up abit and hopefully ill get a full respray when i get the money. I love the car its really fast and been reliable so far.. just need little things here and there. I was told it was known on this forum? The reg is T906 JKY and its a starlet SR but with all glanza body work/ engine etc. If anyone has any info or history of this car please get in touch! Hopefully the car will be in tip top shape for jap fest! Heres how it is atm, its dirty as it rained and i didnt get chance to polish it lol.

I have the car now mate, it's in York and it's safe don't worry. It's booked in at tuning developments next Friday and I'm going to get it in too shape!
