It's an FTE in talking about sorry I should have mentioned, I think we are just going to put a 5e clutch in it until we find a 3e flywheel

Putting a 5e in a car for a friend and have just realised were using the 4e, gearbox. I've got a 5e flywheel but the clutch is for a 4e. I know I need a 3e flywheel but could I get away with using a 5e clutch in the 4e gearbox? Any help much apreciated

picked up a new ep82 and its got the optional extra recaro interior with the door speaker doorcards. I find them a bit uncomfortable and was wondering how much i should sell them for?

i would much rather rebuild the current engine, i dont mind removing the engine and doing work my self. I've worked on a few engines and have a friend who knows quite a bit about starlets who can help. Just dont wanna sink 1000 pound plus rebuilding a stock 4efte. im going to compression test it this evening and whip the head off tomorrow.

my ep82 gt turbo is misfiring pretty bad and the person i bought it from says its possibly the piston rings or the 3rd piston melted. he didn't do a compression test on the car and just thinks it could be piston rings etc, it seems to start up fine and idle fine just a major misfire all the time. Just wondering whether its worth fixing the engine thats in the car atm or just go ahead and find a replacement 4efte, haven't got a huge amount of money to spend budget is around 600 700 pounds...

it will have a replacement gearbox and new clutch in it by then if I've still got it bud...

as above i need a replacement gearbox for my car, lsd box would be nice at the right price or even a stock gearbox??

its me whos selling the gt turbo bud, only reason its up for sale so quick is i have my eye on a glanza that has come up for sale and I've wanted it for quite a while. Tbh if it doesnt sell im happy to keep it, its an extremely healthy engine and pretty clean overall car.

these were being broken, by awais at honda spares as far as im aware.

im after an fmic for my stock ct9 setup, going to buy a japspeed one off ebay at the end of the month but thought id see if i can get a second hand one first...

i looked from near the drivers footwell i can just see it, im just unsure what i need to remove to get to it properly. il just start removing parts of the interior tomorrow lol

trying to find the ecu in my starlet gt turbo, i know its in the center console somewhere but not sure which parts to remove etc, is there a guide anywhere? I've had a look around cant seem to find anything other than people saying its near the gearbox...
