Nice cheers for the heads up. I have just put my 5efhe in my ep91 last week the wiring was a mission but all works as it should. Put my 4e conversion flywheel on torqued all the bolts up fitted the clutch put the box on and found out the 5e dust guard plate does not have as many bolt holes as a 4e so had to take it all back to bits and swap the plates over so I could fit my g6 box lesson learned lol

It is for sprint racing where you are racing in classes so when you are limited to 1.6NA in my class every little helps and just sticking a turbo on it is not an option. But no if I wanted just to make it faster for the road a 4efte would be the way to go of 5efte

Don't suppose you know which would be better on a 5efhe out of the standard non acis manifold or the tubular corolla manifold ported to match the 5efhe throttle body do you

Thanks that is a very detailed and helpful response.i will find you on istagram. How comes you used 4e pistons instaed of 5efhe high comp pistons. I take it the silver top head flows better than the 5e. Was it a big pain to modify to fit thanks for your help

Ha how did I know that was coming. I can't or I won't be able to use it in the class I want to race in next year

would a ep91 galanza adapter wiring harness for emanage blue work on a ep91 4efe or are there a difference in pins thanKs

Hi does any one no if the glanza rear trailing arm bush fit a ep91 NA starlet thanks

sounds good I have got a lightweight flywheel and a glanza clutch already fitted on it so that won't be a problem. Thanks for your help think I may go ahead and get a box then cheers

Yeah looks good. Would you say the box made much difference

Yeah would make sense for a glanza to have longer gear ratio for higher power but on my little NA sprint car it is all about acceleration. There must be someone who has one on a NA. Cheers for all the advice people

Ok did you use the g6 shifter cables of the original starlet ones. What size wheels do you have on it just out if intrest.i am building it for sprint racing so top speed doesn't really bother me just trying to get the gear ratio best for acceleration. Would you say it gets to the top end in fourth and fifth easier as my NA struggles a bit in that respect thanks for your help

Any one fitted one to a NA ep91 starlet. And did it make much difference to the acceleration thanks

Yeah it's easy on a turbo just turn the boost up job done lol. Yea don't mind it being noisy but just not silly load my gt4 only just passes the noise test a croft and on the road it is just too load was hoping to keep this bearable

It can be up to 102db but don't want it no where near that loud my gt4 is 101 and it is far too loud. Would removing the cat and centre box out of the standard pipe be any good

Hi I am tuning a NA starlet for sprint racing it is just lacking a bit of power at the top end of the Rev range. I have a corolla inlet manifold and Corolla 4-2-1 exhaust manifold blitz panel filter and lightweight flywheel with glanza clutch and advice appreciated cheers

Hi I am after a drivers seat for a p91 either standard seat or any thing that would bolt straight in. Or failing that if any one knows which other seats can be made to fit easily that would be good cheers
