Yeah i know it was the fuel filter but when i tap it, i get this weird noise? Engine off to.... Been sat for an hour before i went to work on it. Ill check tomorrow but why would it make these noises?

Hello everyone! Hoping someone could shed a light on a weird noise i have in my engine bay (please move if not in the correct section). Ever since i got my starlet SR, ive had the bonnet open and next to the airbox ill here a random buzz, electrical shorting type sound which comes and goes(pretty sure it isnt though) almost sounds like some hench fly is stuck somewere. Anyway Today i was replacing my spark plugs and noticed it again so starting tapping, moving things to try to find it when i came across the item in the picture below, when tapped it makes the noise described above? Everytime! Is this normal, isit even this? Help!?!? Car runs fine by the way. Thanks in advance

Hello everyone! First post, many more to come im sure. If this is in the wrong section please move So i recently got a 1999 starlet SR, decided i was going to upgrade the air filter to an K&N Panel. In the picture below (which i hope works!) You can see its the wrong shape/size. Brought through ECP using my number plate so is allegedly the 'Correct' fitment. Even on the K&N website the numbers match up - Part number - 33-2094 Can someone confirm im not just being silly thats this indeed the wrong one and doesnt go in at a different angle? As im sure these are ment to slot in as per original. Thank you! Alex
