hello all, i am sad 2 say that my ep80 is going 2 a new home, i recently did a lot of work on it like: engine refurb and t-cut etc etc.....it looks bloody well though...I'm selling it to fund my new project "project kp61"..................... yep u heard me right-----i am in the process of buying an 1984 rwd starlet............... this is going 2 be a serious project and is going 2 be built 4 drifting and for just havin pure fun................ plans are: AE86 corolla twincam engine and drivetrain, ford olympic blue respray and of course it wudn't be a kp61 witout da superlights............... i wil miss my ep80 but i can't wait 2 get da rwd............ :angry: cheers!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey Sparky, I just want to say that your starlet looks amazing. That is a georgous shade of blue and it really suits the cars lines and those front wings rock. Fair play mate its lookin good. What other mods are ya planning. My starlet is coming along slowly but surely. It an EP80 granny spec 1 ltr with no power at all but fear not i have a 4A-GE motor and gearbox from a corolla GTI and that will be going in asap....... It wil be going for its respray soon in MG trophy blue with a gloss black roof. The interior is going 2 be stripped and i dont know wat else 2 do at da mo!!!!! Another ting i want 2 ask is how do i post pics of me car on the website. I would deeply appreciate it if you replied Cheers mate David B...............over and out..............

I am kinda livin in a dream world i spose but i ave a load done. the car is stripped dow in the garage and me mate has a 1992 hi torque model corolla gti that was in an accident. He said i can ave some parts off it if i want. Another good thing is that me uncle owns a bodyshop and is also a good mechanic so i know where to go in times of doubt..... David B....... Hey, I have yet another plan 4 the starlet but i really think and want this to be the one 4 the car. First of all the Corolla GTI 16valve engine and gearbox swap will definately be taking place. This i am really looking forward to as my mate has 2 GTI's and they are such a cool car but with that engine in the starlet its sure to be a rocket. The engine will be getting lots of janspeed goodies. I am hoping to do a Brake upgrade aswell. The wheels: I am really really hoping to put 8x14'' schmidt TH line wheels onto the starlet as i think they would look mental on it and along with these i am hoping to put FK automotive konigsport coilovers to lower the car about 50mm. The bodywork is going to be smooth and simple with the bumpers being extended down a touch and flushed out aswell as the bumpstrips on the doors, the car will then be fully resprayed in MG trophy blue. The interior is going to be well done aswell. I hope to put a corolla GTI dash, door cards, seats and centre console in as well as taking out the rear seats and putting in a full custom roll-cage and a set of racing harnesses. So there you go, dats the final plan for my EP80 Starlet (hopefully) Please let me know what you think of my plan and feel free to give me some ideas, i'd be delighted to hear them.. Hey Enzo, I have plenty of pics of my car but i havent had time to post them on the page yet. Theres not much to see at the moment only the ice install which will be ripped out to get some work done to car. The model is an EP82. Its an Irish spec so its pretty shit But hopefully over the next few months it will begin to take shape. Thanks for the advice. David B.... ;)

Hello yet again. It must be said I'm a bit confused. I'll start off with the wheels. I really really want a set of oldskool (retro) wheels. I been looking at superlights, schmit rims and image rims. These are all very cool but i am a bit worried about choosing them. I have a bit of advice to ask u all. I don't want the wheels to be to big as i want to lower the car at least 35mm. I don't want them to be bigger than 14" if i can help it. I am also conscious of the brake calipers. I will be doing a 4A-GE engine swap in the new year and i will definately be upgrading the stoppers. I was wondering - would the wheels be to small for the calipers to fit behind them. I am also weary of the colour of the car. I want a real retro look (small wheels, big arches, lowered) but i want to use a metallic blue paint. I really need help on this one guys, can you give me ideas on colours please......................................... Thanks 4 the reply mate. The schmits would look amazing on the starlet. They are such a retro wheel. I was also looking at a set of image which are similar to the schmits. I will have to see whats the funds are like in the new year as the respray has to be done. Thanks again mate. ;) David B............

Hi guys and gals. I am really pleased this week as i have enough moneys to buy mines self a set of alloy wheels. I am looking for some ideas. do i go for a retro look and buy a set of 13" superlights or do i go for a race look and buy a set of 15" lightweight racing wheels. Plans are also coming together for a full respray in the new year. ;) I am planning to spray the car in a nice metallic blue (possibly subaru or bmw blue) the car is already maroon and its quite a dull colour. If anyone can give me more ideas on paint that would be great I really want to do the engine conversion as it is only a 1 litre and to be honest it wouldn't pull anyone out of bed. Hello guys. I'm another new guy in the club. Its a cool club and theres some wicked starbos in it. My starlet is a 1990 1ltr 12 valve. It has a 4-speed gearbox. I am from Ireland and I bought the car about a year ago. It only cost me â?¬180. I have some serious mods planned for the car but as i am only 16 i cannot yet afford to carry some of them out. I already have a great ice install. I am planning to do an engine swap as the one i have is good but seriously lacks in power. The engine i wud be planning on putting in is a 1.6 16 valve from a corolla GTI. I would also be changing to a five speed gearbox. That all i ave 2 say. tlk soon. David B
