Well for starters would like to get around 200bhp, then from there I'll try to get as much as I can without going bonkers. We have shite gas here in Barbados, no premium or anything, just the same crappy gas.

UPDATE 5efe motor rebuilt with 4efte pistons and 5efhe connecting rods. Parts Acquired TD05 turbo Speedvision exhaust manifold. EP82 gt turbo gearbox Greddy turbo timer The standard 4efe engine is out, took about 2 hours. 5efe should be in soon and will be breaking it in n/a on the standard computer. After about 500km will change oil and filter and fit the turbo bits as well as the megasquirt. Will keep you guys posted on the progress.

5efe ready to rebuild. Also have 4efte pistons and trying to get 5efhe rods.

chromoly flywheel drilled for 5e, think it is 9 or 10lbs

Ok everything is sorted now. Manual is much better.

Manual conversion basically done. Unfortunately can't get the key out the ignition, read some where i need to tie up some thing under the ignition. Any help with this matter greatly appreciated.

could the clutch cause it to be stuck in gear after all the popping out of gear?

I know I am reviving a very old post but here goes. Can I just change the head and block of my 4efe to a 5efe? My 4efe uses 2 coil packs instead of a distributor? Can this work or do I have a lot of other stuff to do?
