  1. Thanks for the replies. I'm hoping it's just the case cover rather than the shells :-) I'll start it tomorrow night and check
  2. How doo guys. Could anyone listen to my engine from the YouTube link and tell me if they think it's serious or just a noise from it not running regularly for the past 2 years ( probably been started 5 times in 2 1/2 years) >http://youtu.be/bcW0BXi8Ysg I remember the engine always being a little tappy, probably the normal noise but it does seem to be noisier than I remember. I think the noise is coming from the bottom pulley area, my first thought was the water pump but I'm not so sure now. The noise seems to only be on tick over. Any thoughts would be great
  3. Nice Glanza bud. I'd keep the red IMHO and keep the yellow for the bay. Looks awesome
  4. Thanks everyone. It's been an emotional journey with this car over the past 11 years Looked like this when I first got it Had it painted X Power grey and changed the wheels (and some other bits) Turbo lump in The interior in these are very nice. Feels like you're in an aeroplane Started the Toyota Sprint Series and came runner up in my first year More racing, at Rockingham and wheel change Always fancied it in white so started prepping the car for painting (and more racing at Woodbridge) Ghetto painting but I did an Ok job :-) I've now sold or binned most of the optional extras I bought over the years due to deciding the car will be a full time race car as it's not my daily any more and no one wanted to buy it when it was for sale just can't wait to really get on with sorting it now
  5. Thanks for the welcome.
  6. How doo fellow 4EFTE'rs Been a forum member for a while but never posted about my car. It's a Toyota Sera with a 4EFTE conversion. A conversion seen before I'm sure :-) I've had my Sera for 11 years and it's been 3 colours, a show type car and a sprint car too. Currently for the past 2 years, it's a rusting metal lump on my driveway since the birth of my daughter and I'm just getting my mojo back to get the rust cut out and to learn welding to get it back to full sprint spec. Hopefully back to racing in the next few years. Here's a pic of it's Banzai mag feature some years ago JAE It's sprinting days in the Toyota Sprint Series As it stands currently all be it on TOMS wheels now The bay The ever decreasing interior to save weight Didn't want to save this much wright though! So started cutting it out for new metal to go in Here's the TOMS new action rims that I'll be using So I've a lot to do really. Engine and brake overhaul needed and body strengthening inc race suspension are on the cards. Money permitting :-)
  7. Does anyone have the two OEM water hoses for the turbo? North west area collected preferred but will pay postage costs too Thanks
