4EFTE 1993 EP82 I wondered if any of you guys could help me, can you tell me the diameter and number of splines at the gearbox end drivers side, not the shaft, but the gear box I.E. the Yolk bit. Thanks. Ade

I have a 1992 EP82 4E-FTE Starlet, the wiring has been butchered, the fuel pump/sender plugs have been cut off. Can anybody tell me the wires around the fuel pump/sender unit. From the main loom I have :- 1 blue - 2 yellow - 3 brown - 4 white - 5 black wires - which seem to be for the fuel pump area, but the wires on the fuel pump are:- 1 White/Black = Earth 2 Blue/Black = Fuel pump 3 Black = Fuel pump 4 Pink = Fuel sender 5 Brown = fuel sender I presume these just need connecting to each other. Can somebody tell me which joins to which. Thanks Ade

from the 3 metal pipes that are attached to cam cover, 1) attaches to EFI pipe, 2) to breather thingy, also on EFI pipe I know No.3 attaches to a metal pipe that comes out near the top of the inlet side of the turbo, but where does that connect to after, I have no power steering or air con. Do I need hi/lo boost? have adjustable actuator, and boost control Thanks

Ignorant I know, but what is high low boost? does it connect to the turbo somehow?

The sump fits ok with the pick up I've got, will just weld in return pipe.

So would I be OK to weld a return pipe into the sump?

I have just realized why there might be no sump pipe, when I bought the engine, there was no sump, I purchased one from ebay, wonder whether I got a standard starlet, and not the turbo one. Is that all this pipe does, return oil to the sump? Thanks again

Now I know this is going to sound really stupid, and should be really easy for you guys, but :- there are 2 pipes coming out of the bottom of the turbo, one has a steel tube that bolts to the oil filter area, where does the other one go to, it points directly towards the floor, and is about 19mm diameter.
