It only idles like that though if I go into higher boost. It idles normally when I don't go daft.

Don't think it's really changed much. Still when I boot it it will idle around 1.5k then kind of settles at around 1.25k no idea what the deal is?

Well changed the icv and opened up the one that was already on the car and it seems like one if the wee vane things was already burst away from the rest. Take it that would have caused the wacky idling?

Definitely going to try change the valve and I'll clean the other one. If it's not that then I don't know what it could be. I have another full inlet manifold sitting around aswell, may have to try that if the valve doesn't do anything.

I might just swap it cause I've got another one lying around. Will try it tomorrow if I've not found the problem out. And cheers for the advice mate!

Right this is a weird situation. Well on a cold start it idles around 1750rpm then once it gets up to normal operating temperature it idles at 1k. If I drive sensibly the car will idle at 1k once I come to rest. If I decide to boot it then drive sensibly for say a minute and come to rest the car will either idle around 1.5k or occasionally will surge, but if I turn the engine off and back on it will idle at 1k. I have checked all vacuum hoses using the good old wd40 trick and they seem fine. Even clamped hoses individually to check if it changes the idle and nothing. Has anyone had this pr
