bought some lenso RS5 rims in black with chrome lip and dont want to see my car on bricks when i get back to my car from work. seen these rims on other glanza's and look really nice.

i wouldn't mind paying upto £40-50 for a set of locking nuts but they have to do the job right and not rust, where can you get the Rays locking nuts from? and how hard are they for theives to take them off?

Thanks for the heads up.... so which locking nuts did you end up choosing??? Just that the McGard came up with good reviews on some of the websites i looked at.

just bought some nice rims, but before i put them on the car i want to know what is the best locking nuts on the market, i have done little reading and have found that McGard are very good and that they have McGard Ultra, has anyone got these locking nuts?

Same here, not seen them on n/a before so i though i would give it a go, i've had alot of people looking twice because of this. Got quite a few plans lined up, will keep posting as i go along, going to continue with the front and put leds bulbs and hids, and also to change the lights in the fogs ive fitted.

Has anyone done any other door builds as i would like to see what you guys have done?

It does weigh a lot, i had 4 12" subs in at one point but that was overkill on the car and it made a massive difference to car performance. here is a quick pic i did of one of my door speakers. (need a better camera than the one on the phone)

Lost count really, i have gone through many systems looking for what i wanted, spent over 3 grand, mainly the amps and subs cost the most and a lot of man hours. You need to make a custom stealth shelf, not hard to do, just blend it in and cover the lot with speaker cloth matching the interior colour of your car. Still working on plans on next audio setup for when i get my hands on a glanza v and will then sell all of my subs.

I currently have a nice crisp setup, i have 2 different headunits both pioneer, currently using the 6900IB but also have p80-mp, For the front I am using Alpine Type X 17 Pro's components And also alpine Type R coax with custom door build to blend in. In the boot I have 2 Alpine 12 inch Type X subs and have 2 12inch alpine type R's as back up as they sound very good. For the amps i again have alpine, for the speakers currently using alpine PDX 4.100 and for the subs i have 2 alpine pdx 1.1000. To power up this lot i have a yellow top battery and 2 1farad power caps. The type X subs reall
