Has anyone tried fitting the glanza s or sportif ecu into a 75hp starlet or even the 86hp Corolla with matching manifold,injectors, airbox etc?

Yes well spotted they are merely for comparison! and l did not say that the pistons were forged, that would be a nice addition.Can anyone shed some light on this engine as regards figures from TRD or better still maybe a brochure from the era listing the mods made.

Hi l am sorry not to reply sooner but the owner has not said to what it will rev to but has said that the crankshaft is a hollow item, the rods are H-pattern specially machined for this engine and the block has been likewise modified.The pistons are machined 2EE without rings at the moment and the block has been planed by 2mm thus bringing about the high compression ratio with the right head.

Here are a few more pics as you can see the engine needs some work to put back together but on fuel injection and the right compression, about 13:1, it should eligibly be good for 173bhp including the remap. Don`t forget this is the TRD cup engine used back in the 80`s for racing and rallying.

Hi the block, crank and pistons are all either new or reconditioned and from what l can make out the other parts are all on his work bench or around it.How can l upload images to this forum?

The guy is not easy to get hold of but according to the photos seen all the parts, appart from piston rings and main bearings, are there! l believe it to be a real rarity and what a chance to see it in my engine bay. You say you have had a EP80 l believe this motor was also used in the Corolla and the Starlet EP82?

Yes it it is running on fuel injection and the guy is prepared to do a remap sounds interesting!

Yer but no but... is the conversion possible as it would come from the 1987 era of motors and also requires the ecu to be adjusted as is fuel injected.

Hi just wanted to ask if anyone has done the conversion from a 2EE engine into a EP91 as l have access to a TRD cup engine.

Poly bushes sound good but who makes them the ep82 ones dont fit?

Has anyone got any details or photos about replacing these. I understand to replace them is pretty time consuming but what or which bushes if any are available? Sorry about wrong link.

just want to replace them either with oem or polybushes but not found any yet.
