Is it a glanza box that you've got in bits mate?? I think the shaft will be the same just not sure about the crown wheel, SOS for taking ages to reply

I need a pinion shaft n crown wheel for me LSD box n just wanting to know if anyone knows where to get these parts for a decent price or if direct from Toyota is the only place? Any info would be really appreciated cheers

I changed the gearbox, bought an LSD box from a lad in Washington n he said he got it rebuilt n never got fitted. I fitted box n shorter shaft n took for a spin n it has a knocking noise which speeds up n slows down according to wheel speed. The diff seems to have a lot of play but not sure as I've never really dealt with any LSD's. also when I dropped the gearbox oil back out it was glistening, has anyone had a gearbox rebuilt n the oil been the same, only drove 3 mile before taking back to garage. Just hoping gearbox isn't knackered. It's also had the housing repaired lol but the lad did see

How easy are they to fit? Has many people done the conversion??

Just changed standard gearbox for LSD one, funny noise? I've just changed my gearbox for an LSD one, the original one knacked the synchro on 5th n started jumping out. Now I've put the new one in there seems to be a lot of play when spinning the wheels back n forward :S. When I'm slowing down there's a knocking noise. When I bought the box the lad gave as the shorter driveshaft but the other one I'm just using off my last box. Is there any difference in the splines on the non LSD driveshafts to the LSD ones?? Or do you think it's something else?? Proppa head scratcher, just thought I'd put it

3k is a bit extreme for me lol, I wouldnt mind a 6th gear like but not sure. what are you running n what did you do to cure it??

Alright 240 sounds fun lol. Yeah im not that clued up on Gears n sycro's but ill have a look. is it a common fault with these boxes?? Im just wundering how often this problems gonna occur if i decide to go for more power :S

Cheers for the feed back peeps, All my mounts are sound and linkages are all good, the car itself only has 50k on really but when i bought it, it had a knackered actuator which i dont know how long the lad had been running it like that for and whether it was just running max boost :S. i wasnt as clued up back then which didnt help. im running about 1.1 bar of boost which does creep at bit so could be about 1.2. But off what ive reead i thought these boxes were solid. But I'm on the limit with standard internals n ct9. So there should be a cover on the end of the gearbox for the 5th gear?? has

Alright, ive got a V running around 180-190 bhp and its just started jumping outa 5th but doesnt seem to do it ive im giving it licks, it has a quickshift that was fitted when i bought it, could it be linkages or is my box had it? any thoughts would be much appreciated, im a bit of a jap lone ranger since all me mates are well into germs n french :S cheers

I cant get cold air, the resistor on the controller is working, heater matrix is sound, the door actuator works when i put twelve volts onto the switch wires (opens and closes). Ive stripped out the aircon but i think i should still be able to select cold air straight from outside :S. I can only think it could be electrical. I have read the thermostat controls the water through the heater matrix aswell but ive never come across this before. Any help would be much apreciated

Yeah ive just filled it to the level with 75-90, was told from someone in tuning developments thats what they put in, does anyone recomend a certain grade of gearbox oil??

How much gearbox fluid should a ep91 glanza take?? i can only squeeze in 1.7/1.8 litres in and im sure its supposed to take 2.8. Any help would be much appreciated
