easy fix? would you recommend just taking it to a mechanic or could i do it myself? lol

Hey guys, not sure if i have this in the right section and if not sorry but my starlet is just sitting reving at 2000 revs when the clutch is in, like when im stopped at traffic lights etc it sounds as if its really struggling and some times he will just rev between 1000 and 2000 as soon as the clutch is in....anyone know how to fix it and is it expensive?

unfortunatly i dont have the money for any extravagant plans but im on the lookout for a nice set of 15's if anyone knows of any nice ones going and also a set of coilovers or springs just to lower her down abit...thats all so far until i win the lottery thanks everyone ;) yeh she is very clean and has been very well treated no rust at all!

hey just got myself a wee GT Starlet so thought i would join up i plan to lower it and put some nice wheels on her she is totally standard as she came from japan, i think it was imported 3 years ago still has original cd player, speakers etc
