Lol might try adrian flux tomorrow they seem to be good with modified cars insurance is just a lottery game tbh i got a quote on an audi rs4 for 1800 quid for a laugh :L just doesnt seem to make sense the starlet would obv cost less to repair it has a smaller engine i just dont get it.

Down to 900 if i say its a GT non turbo according to confused lol (Dont think theirs such thing but hey)

got a quote for 1800 atm with admiral 10 month policy will shop around tomorrow. thats what i pay on a lupo though so its not all bad but still a piss take as far as im concerned lol 1600 isnt too bad i would say 2k with mods on a glanza is cheap!!

I wouldnt settle for anything less than a gt turbo. The trouble is the cars not listed on the compare sites as its an import did u guys have to rings up ??

Hi am buying a starlet gt turbo very soon and am a bit worried about the insurance. I will be 20 1 years no claims held my license almost 2 years am getting quotes on a few starlets for around 900 pound but its hard to get a quote for a starlet gt turbo because its an import. Any help would be much appreciated

Lol thanks guys yer im big petes mate but tbh hes a nobber ;) thinks vag cars are the best bla bla tbh id rather have an old ford over another vw but rather than sticking to the norm i thought id try jap:) the starlet seems the way to go ;) 150 hp from a 1.3 is nice also means cheaper tax and cheaper insurance being such a small displacement and theirs so much tuning potential also the range of parts seem like much of a higher quality for example if you compare the ta/technix coilovers that are sold to the Vw community compared to the D2 racing coilovers that you guys buy the quality differance is emmense ;) Thanks for info

All the wheel bolts pulled the thread out through the hub and snapped. I know they werent loose because they would have knocked like hell. I do drive my cars pretty hard go to track days and do a bit of racing as this isnt the first time its happened to me but it was at lydd in a fiesta not a shoddy lil VW lol

Hi guys just signed up here will be buying a starlet very soon. Anything i should look out for when purchasing one ?
