  2. right i checked behind the rubber and its busted put a new one on still f***ed think its took the master cylinder with it im hoping its just popped the seal off when i strip it tomorrow are there any other toyotas with the same cylinder in case its a scrapyard jobbie as im low on funds this week there only £57 new but bills come first loll thanks for your help.   3. im guessing there would be fluid passing through the rubber bung i had the same problem on an mr2 i had years ago il give it another blast at bleeding and see how i go thanks.
  4. hey all i have searched for the problem but found nothing helpful, Im loosing pressure on my clutch pedal if i depress the clutch it re engages slowly theres no leaks anywhere i have topped up the fluid and bled the slave but was wondering if anyone has had the same problem and where to start the fluid pot or the cylinder on the box thanks in advance.   6. i did a comp test today from cold and got 130 psi on all 4 cylinders but its still running pretty good so i hope its ok

Thank you for the info guys its my first turbo car so im still learning what is the pcv? the car is pretty standard apart from the exhaust and dump valve it still pulls well spins up in first in the dry. The repair kit for these could i repair it myself im relatively mechanically minded i did my clutch in 2.5 hours and my timing belt in 3.5 its just if i need special tools or not. also underneath my i/c there is a rocker breather missing it just has a piece of garden hose in it i wanna get it right im not bothered about big power as i cant really afford it its just at the age where things nee
  8. hey all ive got the dreaded blue smoke loll only when the car has been idleing for a couple of mins it never smokes when starting up untill its warm but as soon as i blip the throttle i get a puff of blue then its totally clear im thinking the turbo i just wanna be sure before i worry about internals also i have a whine developed a couple of months back ive changed the belt and pulleys and its still there its deffo from the top end on the cam belt tho it seems like everything is happening at once too i need an engine mount hanbrake cables and some other bits its turning into a shed loll but i

Hi there i did my timing belt on my gt a few weeks ago and i feel my car is slower than it was and it smokes now too not all the time tho, it seems as tho its boosting a little later my dump valve is a little quieter i was wondering if i could be a tooth out also i think the belt is a little tight but i wont know till i take my aux belts off. Im still getting 8 psi on my guage on full boost it still runs good idles fine etc but the tubo guage on my dash takes longer to catch up to the aftermarket one any help very much appreciated

  13. think my hg is fine its been running for about 2 hours no misfire but i was loosing boost or something it was bellowing whiteish blue smoke out on tickover after boosting so i thaught it had had it but then realised a vac pipe was off what i think is the solenoid for the wastegate and i had a slight split in the dumpvalve pipe (the small one on the top) it all seems to be good now still get abit of blue every now and then but when the turbo finally gives in il get a hybrid im still pretty new to turbo cars its my first one and its pretty easy to work on 3.5 hours to do timing belt and it took
  14. well i went through a puddle last week and half hour later started getting an intermittant missfire and when i checked the leads no 4 plug lead was wet ive just put new plugs in and a timing belt and im going to take it for a run shortly i dont know what the wheels are mate they were on it when i got it.
