  1. Thanks for the warm welcome + kind comments. This kind of engine conversion into an EP91 took a lot of patience. All engine mounts had to be custom made or modified to suit. You need a lot of patience to get this conversion right. Some 16" lightweight rims are on the cards eventually as well as some decent springs & shocks. I don't think I can lower it any further since the extractors & gearbox only have 110mm of ground clearance which is quite low already. I'm about halfway through completing my project ...I still have many more insane ideas for this car Like I said, takes a lot of patience to get everything to fit propery.
  2. Hey Everyone. I'm Tom from Australia. I just signed up to UK Starlet Club today. Here's my Project Starlet. Started off as a 1997 Toyota Starlet *Life* spec. Owned it since January, 2005 and it has been hibernating for a while. Here are some early pictures when I first brought it home: engine bay back (RHS view) front view back (LHS view) Here's an update of what's been done to it recently: Specifications: Engine: - 4AGE Blacktop 20 Valves - Jasma stainless steel 4-2-1 extractors - Catco Hi-Flow Catalytic Convertor [2.5" inlet/outlet] - 2" mandrel bent exhaust from cat-back - Denso Racing Spark Plug Leads - Denso Racing Spark Plugs Drivetrain: - C56 gearbox Suspension: - Whiteline 22mm front swaybar - Whiteline 20mm adjustable rear swaybar - Whiteline anti-lift/castor kit - Durun 185/70 R13 tyres Exterior: - Glanza [series #2] rear hatch - Glanza [series #2] front bumper - Glanza headlights - Glanza_S bonnet - EP95/Reflet tail-lights - ZZE122R side indicators - Clear front indicators - 3M 20% Window Tinting - Glanza retractable mirrors Interior: - Glanza cupholder - Power windows/locks - AE111 dash instrument cluster [orange dials] The good thing about this conversion is that I was still able to retain A/C & P/S.
