Hello. I am currently repairing my ep71 turbo, and for the time being i drive a ej9 civic. As it is my daily driver atm i needed some comfy seats and bought myself a set f red DC2 Recaro seats. They are so nice that if the ep71 is on the road again i want to use them in my turbo haha Anny one know who makes nice seat rails? Best would be original from Recaro, but dont know if they ever made such adapter rails or so... Anny tips or help? Greetings from the netherlands!

thanks, its a real shame about the red one, but it will be restored, as i got it as my first car, from the first owner: my granny so sentimental about it

Looooooong ago since i updated :'( The starlet is (was) still alive! After MOT in january 2014 it bearly past (something with emmissions) so it became time to drop the 2e! after a long surch i found a MK1 4EFTE engine I started the swap last august, but from then nothing but troubles :'( Wiring was done by a company who makes custom looms for these swaps, but some wires where not in the right place! after fixing that problem, the car kept cranking, but not starting! reason: fuel pump wasnt getting anny power. so we tracked the problem down in the loom... when we opend the covering tape we directly saw the problem. the wires from +/- were molten together... so we than had to fix that problem... after we replaced the faulty wires, i made a few trips with the car! it was an awsome feeling finaly driving my lovely car again!!! and than it happend again.......... yes the automatic transmission died :'( so now its in my garage, waiting for a 5 speed manual gearboks. its gonna take a while because i bought my first house. so i also needed a new daily car, and offcourse its an other ep7! this one is a ep70 in the black color, wich is pretty rare in the netherlands. i also swaped a few pasrt of my red car on my black: tein coils, rims and s seats but now the pictures! enjoy!! end of story for the red turbo (for now!) the bonet, grill and front bumper i got 2nd hand from a guy in the netherlands, the turbo top spoiler also, and the turbo mid spoiler comes from thailand it was all verry hard to find i also have a shipment waiting from japan with some ep71 smoke turbo rear lights

bodykit is from western germany: Hasselbeck. i also recieved a turbo s top and mid spoiler the other day only missing part before complete is the grill with fog lights ;) i'l post updates when i have more pictures gr sidney from the netherlands

Update: finaly got my turbo bonet it has been removed again for restauration also got a turbo front bumper, and tein mono flex control master suspension kit few pictures: And the Bonet

Another update: I dindt do much to it. Got me some winter rims, and dit something with plastidip. i also got a under car strut bar in front and a p7s brake set. but i have to wait until it can be equiped. pictures: Thats it for now. Now you know how my starlet looks like today gr sidney

thanx, im verry proud of my neat little car ;-) when i bought it from my granny, it was not in a great shape, but dint have anny rust, so now almost 2 years later, this is how it looks now, with no rust most starlet ep71 in the netherlands are suffering a slow and painful death uppon rust, so im glad mine isnt the other day i send my granny out shopping with it, and everyone looked suprised when they saw wat came out of the car im also looking for maybe a change of rims, suggestions? gr sidney

And after a long time, a new update. i finaly fitted the whole bodykit, and it looks amazing! the only thing missing is a turbo grill and bonnet. so if anyone has some spare, i am verry intrested!!! pictures: this was on JAF 2012 @zandvoort (circuit) So wich one is mine?
