4ag head stud conversion

I have bought a arp head stud kit and had the thread re tapped but the can pullys hit the stud and how am I supposed to get a socket in the gap on the inlet side ?

You have to cut the sides the socket, so the bit that protrudes when you tighten, so it can clear the bucket/shim housing on the cylinder head.
