coolent change

Hi,

i need to change the coolent in my rad, i think that it is the 'red coolent' that i need but does it matter what brand? and is it 100% the red coolent that is needed, just need some advise thats all

Did mine not so long ago, read all the threads on the forum and went with Toyota red coolant in the end.

Got it from their eBay store which I think was the cheapest at the time including delivery, free key ring thrown in too.

Tis pretty much all the same brand wise, if youve got pink coolant stick with that and 50/50 mix is fine

Any stuff will do.

If you plan to not touch it in a while then the red stuff is good for long life.

If you are likely to be working on the car often and draining the coolant just use the cheap blue stuff.
