no bov but bov sound?

i have just fitted a hks mushroom filter and got rid of the factory air box, but now when i drive nd come onto boost i can hear the turbo spooling up nd then when i change gear or take my foot of the accelerator i get a bov sound but i am still running the standard re-serc, is this because the hks filter is less restrictive or do i have an air leak somewhere- it seems to hold boost still nd my boost gauge shows a steady 0.5 no creeping or dropping etc.

does anybody no why? ;)

a recirc is still a BOV, what you are hearing is the recirc dumping the air into the efi pipe, a noise that the airbox masks when it's fitted ;)

No I wouldn't worry about anything mate, just like Dub has said you can hear it just because you have an open filter as opposed to the closed airbox.
