200sx-Starlet-Jay
alright peepsright as posted in other threads i have my self a 4efte, and i am adding on quite a few of the stage 1 tuning gear available. if i leave the turbo alone with all the bits i have been told it is going to hit fuel cut and all other sorts of bob. so i may as well add the turbo into the equation and raise the boost. so.. question at hand is how do i go about raising the boost? and what sort of kit do i need?i take it a FCD for a start, then will i need an actuator and just adjust the actuator? or do i need a bleed valve or boost controler as well? need to know asap people so the more help the better, wanna close a deal tonite if possible!! Glanza_cl
this is a super crude way of doing it and can result in you just blowing your engine but...you need a FCD a RRFPR and an adjustable actuator or a EBCthe FCD will remove fule cut,the RRFPR will add the extra fuel so you dont run leanand the Actuator or EBC will raise the boost level.IF DOING THIS IT WILL NEED SETTING UP ON A RRi highly don't recommend doing it this way but it is your car.people do it and dont have problems but they tend to add uprated fuel pumps and at least a AVCR to set some kind of fuel map

glanza87
Just what glanza_cl said. Its a more simple way of upping the boost. For a start you can up the boost to 0.8 bar without hitting fuel cut, but this also depends on what you are running like fmic, decat etc...Also you wont want to be putting the boost up too much if you are running a standard mani as the 3rd runner is restricted and you could do damage to your third piston!Regards Johny
