ross666evans Posted June 13, 2009 Share Posted June 13, 2009 IL BE HONEST...IM A TWAT...I DROVE MY EP82 LAST NIGHT HARD IN THIRD GEAR HITTING 90MPH GOIN UP A LONG STRAIGHT ROAD AND THEN NOTICED MY CAR MAKING A CLUNK CLUNK CLUNK SOUND ONCE I SLOWED DOWN AND IT CONTINUES TO DO SO WHEN I REV IT PAST 3K.I CHECKED THE OIL DIP STICK AND DECIDED TO FILL HER UP WITH FRESH OIL ONCE I NURSED HER BACK TO THE NEAREST PETROL STATION...IT WAS VERY LOW ON OIL AND I've CAUSED SOME SERIOUS DAMAGE I THINK???THE OIL FILLER CAP SPITS OIL SPOTS ONTO MY HAND WHEN TICKING OVER ASWELL AS THE CAR SOUNDING LIKE A COLD DIESEL ENGINE ALL OF A SUDDEN FROM SOUNDING OK..NOTICED POWER LOSS BUT SEEMS FINE TO DRIVE REAL STEADY WITH LITTLE REVS??WHAT SORT OF DAMAGE DO YOU RECKON I've CAUSED AND HOWS THE MOST COST EFFECTIVE WAY TO PUT MY CAR BACK ON THE ROAD GUYS??WILL CONTINUED USE DESTROY MY ENGINE ELESWHERE?THANKS Quote Link to post Share on other sites
Curtis Posted June 13, 2009 Share Posted June 13, 2009 it sounds like you may have done the big ends. it will be spitting oil out the filler cap because the block is pressurizing, is there lots of air blowing out the oil breather Quote Link to post Share on other sites
