Bumpstrips And Badges....

Recommended Posts

as above. simple question lol. do the badges and bump strips have holes behind them once removed?

i have seen a few starlets without badges but they could have had the holes for the re-locating pins (if they have them that is) smoothed off for all i know?

i know how to remove them etc etc and i know it might peel the laquer off. as ive removed bumpstrips before.

this is the wrong section mate,

in this instance your looking for TECHNICAL > Exterior Design

topic moved

answering you question you can remove the strips, heat them up with a heatgun if you have to loosen the glue then take a polishing wheel to the gluey residue

dependant on the condition of your bodywork the paint might not match up behind it

no there are no holes behind them bud, the best way to get them off is to get the hairdryer on them an peal them off slowly so you dont peal the laquer, get some meguires bug and tar remover on the glue and with a bit of elbow greese it should all come off
