Upgrading Ct12 From Ct9 On 4efte

hello 

i have 4efte in factory condition .....only air intake  and 2.5inch pipe added with exhaust 

with 13km/L millage 

now i have an front mounted inter cooler with me and wanted to swap ct9 with ct12

plz can any 1 help me what else i will be needing for this change.....and what millage effect it willl have 

as i am new with turbo charged engine...will appreciate if some 1 tell me how to maintain an 4efte 

and recommend me any good BOV

hi mate the ct12 untouched is not really an upgrade in iself, it also depends on what ct12 you have if you want to class it as an upgrade.

you would be better off sticking with your ct9 for the haslte as the performance gains would be negligable.

i m looking for power some where between 160hp to 170hp..

using this engine for last 1 month ..already 425km driven...

what will you recommend to get a bit more power out from stock engine....

i looked into this...the manifold to turbo is the same but of the photos i seen of the ct12 the turbo ti downpipe is diferent

the turbo is goood for 180+bhp,

thz for the link...m from Pakistan..running 4efte in other car then starlet....got lots of info from this forum
