whats the best paint and how should it be applyed to lines /word etc in eingine bay. for example word(toyota) on rocker cover?

so what paint ? how many coats? a fine brush?

tin of heat proof paint..coats depends on you really (4-5)..use a fine brush.

for paint hammerite is your friend when i polished my rockercover i painted the lines in red and worked a treat and i used a very fine brush abd done around 4 coats just so it was thick
