JackStar Posted January 12, 2010 Posted January 12, 2010 Before anyone says, ive read loads of old post with the same problem, but nothing they suggested have fixed it.I have read the codes, and i says the signal from knock sensor or something like that. Ive tried a second hand sensor, didnt work. ive found a break in the wire, ive soldered it, then was told this changes the resistance of the wire, so i tried a bullet conector, but still no better. Ive run out of ideas now, any help?Jack Quote
adz_sportif_turbo Posted January 12, 2010 Posted January 12, 2010 yeaa i have same problem mate, the wire was cut on mine. the wire is coaxial, to prevent interference, so it looks like a whole new one is needed. not sure though, would like the same question answered lol. Quote

JackStar Posted January 15, 2010 Author Posted January 15, 2010 Still not sorted, but was thinking about it, does the outer shielding need to be connected? is it an earth or anything like that? Quote
Dave@TM-Developments.com Posted January 15, 2010 Posted January 15, 2010 Join the centre wire, shield it with shrink wrap then join the outer wire. Shrink wrap the outer and all should be well Quote
adz_sportif_turbo Posted January 16, 2010 Posted January 16, 2010 on mine...the wire from the sensor is normal, non coaxial. but were it was cut, its coaxial?!? and its bright blue?!? im not sure about it lol, any ideas?? :S Quote
