chriswoodfto
hey, finally a dry day, ive owned the glanza for 12 weeks and tonight was the first time i was in it on a dry road!!! woohoo!!! had all the sus' done (whiteline springs) and anti lift kit fitted y'day too, handles like a dream, and thats with out the rear arb yet and standard shocks, loved it. AVCR BIT....next thing, when i kained it down a straight bit tonight, my avcr read 0.88 bar, normally when ive done exactly the same thing the max its ever gone to is 0.83 bar, but usually sticks to 0.8 bar, is it just over boosting slightly, im not getting a fuel cut, (i dont think) as it was still pulling and i didnt get a lurch form the car, it read 6480revs / 0.88 bar. 1st question, how do i check what the previous owner has set the boost to on my avcr? 2nd, if hes set it to 0.85 or 0.9 bar, how do i change it to 0.8. im just currently buying all the bits to up it to 1bar but for now i dont wana fuck anythign up so wana turn it dwon to 0.8, all i need is a manifold and emangae blue nowp.s if it makes any diference i changed the tmic to a rx7 tmic a few days ago and this was first oportunity i got to kain it since i changed it. cheers guys,
Glanza_cl
well you have answered your own question in your last sentence. your boosting more as the RX7 tmic will draw in more air.if you go into the AVCR options you need to find the duty cycle, that's what you change to alter the boost... you cant just enter a number like 0.8bar type thing. i'v got one but has been a while since i set it up so cant help much.someone else might be able to divulge more info into it but right now i cant remember lol.also your engine warning light will come on just before you hit fuel cut, so if you see that appear back off the throttle. 0.88 is quite alot for the stock mani so just take it easy... 0.8 is still quite high i think personally but it's not 'to' bad. Sparky
If I was in your car I wcould do it, but sat in front of this computer I cant think for the life of me because of all the menus etc lolYou go into Seetings A if thats what your using and adjust the duty cycle to under fuel cut as said. You can also alter the complete duty cycle for the entire rev range by pressing either up or right when on duty cycle I think? Can also do it for each gear.Maybe someone else can help lol
