How Far Dose A Wastegate Have To Open

think i have a problem with my internal wastegate

Wen its closed its sat at the 12o clock position and with decat on it will only open to bout the 2 o clock position dose it need to open more then this

yeah it does, the more u put ure foot down the more air the wastegate will need to budge making it open more, mine creeps with it all the way open, so ide say 2 oclock would be a problem

running stock actuator? could be past it. depends on the mileage/age/past treatment of your car.

if your worried bout the wastegate not opening fully that may be a good place to start by replacing the actuator

i believe its his decat thats physically stopping the wastegate not the actuator
