Glanza_cl
Apexi's are very complicated at first... if your not confident with setting one up i wouldn't. mine took a while, as you cant just enter a boost value you have to set a duty. plus your injector duty and other crzy things lolvery good ebc but can be complex until you get used to it.and with mounting you have kind of ruled out most possibilities, especially if your not willing to mount it. Velcro would work, or your only other option would be to set it up in the glove compartment so its always out of show. so people wont know you actually have one... but i like looking at mine lol so it's always out on showEdit: manualhttp://www.thmotorsports.net/images/storie...als/pdf6115.pdf
chriswoodfto
by glued i didnt meen with glue, which was a shit description, as above, get that double sided velcro, or get the no more nails sticky strips, there holding my eyebrows on. (the car)
Idrees
Velcro is solid, I've always had my Power FC commander units on with velcro and they've never failed. As Glanza_cl said they take some getting used to. Awesome boost controllers, I just sold one last week and then ended up buying another last night! The only way I learnt was by teaching myself! Georgie
yer i wont be setting it up neway my bfs got one of them complicated hks ones and hes grasped it already so he can do mine lol!, as for the glovebox idea thats very good as is the velcro idea, think the velcro would prob be easier tho as i really dont wana leave it in the car with all these theiving bastards around these days! thanks guys
Glanza_cl
how are you going to take it out of the car?? it will be all wired in?

Glanza_cl
just thought you had found some way to have a plug and play ebc! haha.its possible but allot more hassle then it's worth. plus i'm not sure it would like the brake in the line.so many people have them in there turbo cars i wouldn't worry about it. as long as you have a good cat1/2 alarm. there shouldn't be any problems
Georgie
lol my alarm is shite! but spose its not to bad as i live down a private track and its there most of the time, can anyone tell me where the map sensor goes into, anyone got any pics to help me out fitting it? also anyone got a stand for it cheapish atall?? Glanza_cl
http://www.freewebs.com/djnos/glanza/mapsensor2.JPGthats the map sensor, it will run to your ecu. (circled in red)are you trying to take the vac source from it i take it?basic connections are:turbo- apexi solenoidactuator- apexi solenoidapexi solenoid- vac source.apexi solenoid cable into cabin, connect up to apexi controller unit.then just find a live and earth so connect to.i 'think' that is all there is to them, cant remember as it's been a while since i was connecting up my apexi ebc :S

Idrees
Leave enough wire loose, velcro it to the dash when your driving but when you park up, stick it in the glove box!

Sparky
I got the instructions off the Apexi website.Pav helped me set mine up, once you know what your doing its pretty simple but theres so much on there to get your head around first!!!Firstly I had mine down by the cigarette lighter but when setting it up it was a pain boosting and looking at the centre console ;) ;)So mine is now double sided here (can remove it when leaving the car somewhere)
