Fuel Pressure Regulator

Just got off the phone to a very nice man about a fuel presure regulator

my cars running 0.8bar boost but it creeps up to 0.93 bar when you give it some

have the HKS FCD on and was advised i need to uprate the fuel pressure regulator

i got the FSE one and gauge but got told to put it on i need to map it :/ is this right

or can i put it on set it to 3.1 or 3.2 and go?

It doesnt need "mapped" the regulator needs set up to your car... or it will cause the car to run like a bag of... Sh**

i dont advise you do it your self you could cause more harm than good. and then regret it! get a propper mechanic in the know to fit it correctly for you!

oh right so is there a table to work out how much to run the fuel pressure regulator at compared to boost?

Dont know if the cars have set pressure, depends with the spec to deter what pressure for it to run at its best ability

what they need to do is match the airflow & fueling so that its getting the right mix..

too rich.. overfuels.. (pop pop flames.. not good output.)

too poor.. well starvation of the car (not good output either)

tbh im not sure what pressure the cars oe one is regulated at
