Mo3 Posted March 15, 2010 Share Posted March 15, 2010 zzz on way back home from uni in 3rd gear i hit it to like redline then i looked battery light on and temp on full i stop car thinking wtf water full and stuff then called dad (mechanic) after driveing it a bit he sees temp goes up again we stop then we look at timing belt its torn off a brand new one then we came to the conclusion that the battery light came on because of the alternator belt not turning..so we went home grabed all the tools left the car at a goldcourse 15mins away fixed it ina hour thank god i have a dad for a mechanic...think i need 2 change the alternator :S Quote Link to post Share on other sites
