Kent Cams Or Newman Cams For Toyota Paseo 1.5 5e-fe

Hi there,

I have just started looking for some engine modification into this car, the Toyota Paseo 1.5 with 5E-FE engine but i have no idea about what to choose or where to start looking.

For this specific car i can't seem to find a lot of info, at least not at my country which is Portugal (left side of Spain).

Does anyone knows which Kent Cam or Newman Cam should i choose? Are any of those available for my car...where?

Any other suggestions (such as turbo'ing this engine) will be very welcome

both are big companies and will be able spec you cam's to whatever you wish, price wise it depends if you want re-profiled one's of billet cam's

As Gaz said really - depends on your budget and what you want out of it; contact both regarding your requirements and what they can do

Regarding turbocharging etc, search through this forum and whilst the full collection of resources aren't collected, there is still a reasonable amount - essentially to turbocharge the 5E you need the turbo components from the 4E-FTE (there's a thread here depicting how to turbocharge a 5E), to which you will need to add a 4E-FTE ECU/loom (would be easier than adapting the 5E ecu to work) and splice it into the existing wiring
