glanzapower Posted June 3, 2010 Share Posted June 3, 2010 hi people, basically i was driving my car and came round the corner of my house and the car cut out on me, i tried starting it over again but it did not start due to less battery power, so i jump started the car and started fine but start dying out again as the front headlights and everything went dim. then the car did not turn over again without a jump start. Can it be alternator issue as the lights go dim and car slowly dies out, also it makes a funny sound when starting it the first time, then when you rev the car the sound gradually gets louderthe car has enough fuel, checked all pipes on intercooler, turbo and checked oil everything is finewhat you think peoplecheers Quote Link to post Share on other sites
